Harry Potter Fans are disappointed with the Harry Potter 6 release date

Harry Potter Fans are disappointed with the Harry Potter 6 release date

Harry Potter Fans are disappointed with the Harry Potter 6 release date.

Harry Potter 6; the Half-blood prince is much anticipated by all the Harry Potter fans around the world. Everybody were expecting it to be on their movie screen by November 21st, but suddenly Warner Brothers had announced that they will push the date to July 17th of 2009 and not on November 21st of 2008! This angered lots of the Harry Potter fans who just can't get enough of Harry Potter.

Because of these fans' outrage, one person started an online petition asking fellow Harry Potter fans to sign it if they are disappointed with the decision to move the release date of the movie. In just a week after the petition had been created, it gathered over 40,000 signatures already! Just imagine, that's over 5,000 signatures in a day! The Harry Potter fever is just getting hotter and hotter. Now, fans are not excited but they are outraged by the decision of Warner Brothers. With this much signatures under one petition, just imagine how many online petitions about this had been created after the news broke out about the postponement of the movie's release. With all these petitions getting the same bombardment of signatories, for sure Warner Brothers would be worried. Why not? They keep on making Harry Potter movies because of its fans that just can't stop watching it. What would happen to them if their fans would decide to boycott? They'd lose lots of money and that's not good for business. What are their reasons for postponing the movie?

After watching Harry Potter 5, many Harry Potter fans already started their long wait for the next Harry Potter sequel. For them it may have already seemed forever and with just 3 more months left and they could already watch their anticipated movie, suddenly they realize they don't need to wait 3 more months but another 11 months! Now, wouldn't that make your blood boil? So just imagine the outrage. Thankfully, online petitions are there to make these fanatics have a chance to share their opinions in the hopes that those people in Warner Brothers may change their minds. It's a disaster! For these Harry Potter fans, this news seems like they've been hit by a killer tornado.

Warner Brothers said they moved the date to ensure they'd get the most audience as possible but they never thought that with their move, they made their Harry Potter fans angry. Is this the best way to market their movie? They should have kept their movie fans happy and excited about the movie and not angry and want to boycott. They may just end up realizing that they made the wrong move. Let's face it. It doesn't matter what time of the year they would release the Harry Potter movie, it would still get the same number of audience. Harry Potter fans would continue to watch the movie with so much excitement even when it's released on the coldest day of the year!

So, if you are a Harry Potter's fan and you are also outraged with the decision by Warner Brothers, you may want to check out the online petition about it and sign there too! Heck, even if you were to start a petition of you own, that would help. Everything helps at this point!

Any Stargate Atlantis fans?

Stargate Atlantis needs our help! Sign the petition!

I’m such a fan of Stargate Atlantis. I watch it religiously and I know all the scenes! It’s in my system and I just can’t imagine life without this show on TV. Have you heard? MGM has already announced that they are going to end the show after their 5th season. Why? It’s probably the best sci-fi show on TV to date! Why cancel a show that has a very solid audience that watches it religiously the same as I do?

Obviously, the producers know how popular Stargate Atlantis is and thought that it’s just too good for TV and should be made into a movie. Great! Who wouldn’t want to watch a movie version of their favorite sci-fi TV series? But why would they cancel the show just to pave the way for its movie series? There’s too much politics here and the purpose is not to benefit the fans but so they could fatten their pockets even more! Come on now! Why hurt us after we supported your show? It is just not fair!

I am so happy to see many fans who decided to start a petition. It’s a great idea! It’s time for us to save our favorite TV show. Let us save Atlantis! It’s our time to be a part of the show’s story. Now is our time to save Atlantis, Of course it’s not like we have to pack our bags and train to be one of these futuristic scientists but it’s time for us to unite and save the show! These petitions are calling for all the Stargate Atlantis fans and supporters to sign their names so our voices would be heard by SGA’s executive producers. It’s not fair! We have to show them that what they plan on doing is really not fair!

Friday nights would no longer be fun. I usually prepare myself after dinner and find a comfortable place in front of the TV in anticipation of this show. I look forward to Friday nights all the time! Without SGA, what’s there to look forward to? It’s sad… tragic! Looking forward for the next movie is like waiting for your birthday each year!

I’m just one of the many disappointed fans of SGA. These executive producers should reconsider. Should we boycott and show them our disappointment? But then we’d be missing more of their awesome shows. We should all support the circulating of the online petition asking for these executive producers to change their mind and start thinking about the 6th season. The 5th season of Stargate Atlantis is a lot better than the previous seasons and we are expecting for the 6th. It can’t just end here. It’s just too good to end.

SciFi will have nothing to boast about after their station won’t have Stargate Atlantis for their audience. Come on now, what’s left to watch in that channel after SGA?

Would it have been different if they have used a different channel to show Stargate Atlantis? SG1 was a great show and it was canceled prematurely as well. I was a die-hard fanatic of SG1 also and I was so disappointed when they announced that my favorite show on TV was about to say it’s goodbye. I was sad but I thank God for Stargate Atlantis. At least, SG1 had 10 seasons so I was able to enjoy watching it for years! Stargate Atlantis only had 5 episodes and it’s even better than SG1 but why only 5 episodes? Can the executive producers answer this question for us?

Why the sudden death for our favorite sci-fi shows? They can cancel all those other boring shows on Sci-Fi if they want to, but why cancel the most popular one? It doesn’t really make sense to me. I will miss the characters whom I already grown to love. What will happen to them after this? Will they be on the movie version of Stargate Atlantis? I hope so. But, still that’s just not right. They deserve to be on Air every Friday! I am not saying that they don’t deserve to be on the silver screen. Heck, I’d die to watch the movie version of SGA but I just can’t stand the fact that they are canceling the show.

I’m sure many would agree that there’s not much on TV right now that is worth watching. I don’t watch TV on most days except for the news and some sports shows but that’s just about it. No new shows interest me that much anymore except for Stargate Atlantis. I’m a sucker for sci-fi shows but I am very choosy as well. Sci-fi shows can be really boring when the storyline is boring. SGA has an awesome storyline that caught me right from the first time I watched it. I even have DVDs of the shows so I could watch them over and over again. I’m a die hard fan and I am here, asking all of you die hard SGA fans out there, to support the online petition. Please, please, let’s support our favorite show.

I’m done voicing out my opinion but I’m still not through with my disappointment and I will continue to fight for my favorite show. Its one great show that we just have to keep on air. Whether or not we’d be successful, at least we can say that we did our part in keeping it on air. If the executive producers won’t listen to our plight, I bet it’s time for us to start looking for other shows that may interest us and just wait for the movie series then. It’s unfair and disappointing but I will never say never. I will sign as many online petitions and start a petition asking my fellow fans to support our loved team of scientists led by Major John Sheppard.

You gave us a great show SCI-Fi, please don’t just take it away from us. It will break many hearts and will disappoint even more. Hope you’ll make the right decision and keep the show on air!

How to start a Petition

How to start a Petition

So, you planned on writing a petition? Here are some steps you need to follow so that your petition would be a success. It’s sad to see your efforts go to waste just because you missed one important step in making your petition a success so you better make sure you’re doing the right things.

First, it is important that you know the purpose of the petition. If you are not absolutely sure about its purpose then you would find it difficult to answer the people’s questions and if they notice that you’re dumbfounded, they may choose not to sign.

Second, you must follow your local government’s regulation. May it be a petition against a government employee, a public servant or a company, it must still follow your government’s jurisdictions and your petition’s cause must be verified either in your locality or on a higher level, depending on your petitions cause.

Third, you must also ask your local government for a guide so you’ll know how much signatures you would need so that you could send the petition to the persons it must reach. If you fail to consider this step, you may end up starting all over again if you have not reached the minimum required signature and you already brought it to the persons who are the reasons why you started the petition.

Fourth, it’s time to write your petition. Make it brief and direct as people won’t want to waste their time just reading through pages of your petition. If you could iterate the petition’s purpose in one paragraph then so be it. Just make sure that it is straightforward and simple. Try to make it say to the people that they need to support the petition because it would benefit the majority. It must be captivating but not dramatic as no one wants that. The summary must be describing the situation and at the same time it must have the suggestion you have in mind as well as the reason why you think this suggestion is necessary.

Fifth, after you write the petition you must take time to reread what you have written and check for errors. You may be surprised but many people get easily irritated with wrong grammars or misspelling.

Sixth, create enough pages for the signatures.

Lastly, it’s time for you to gather as many signatures as you can. Go out and find the right location where most of the people that should sign your petition would be found. Make sure to post the summary or another version of it on your bench and with the use of signboards. You must get their attention so that you’ll get more signatures. This is the most tiring part of the entire process because it’s what makes your petition a success. It’s in the amount of signatures you gather that will determine whether or not your petition is successful.

That’s it! If you gathered enough signatures you must then forward it to the person or persons that needs to open their eyes and start acting in terms of what the majority had agreed on.

Once you’ve done all of this successfully, you must then wait for their decision while keeping your fingers crossed.

Good luck!
